Left behind.

When I woke up this morning, catching a whiff of my dad's eau de toilette, I stood silently in the living room and felt like I was being left behind.

Then I got a call from J at the airport, who was just about to board the plane to Bangkok, I stood by the window staring into nothing and felt like I was being left behind.

As I sat in the taxi on my way to work, I looked on as all other vehicles big and small zoom past me, while my driver seemed contented with cruising at 60km/h.

I felt like I was being left behind.

Update:

After dinner with my friends, the 3 of them skipped off home together, while I walked to take the mrt alone.

Again, I was being left behind.
