Eau de toilette (use in toilet)

Recently I went over to a friend's place. She isn't local, so let's just say her grasp of the English Language is exactly 'there' yet.

After she came out from the bathroom, J, who was wandering around the house, smelled something familiar and looked into the bathroom - only to find a bottle of The Body Shop's Havoc EDT sitting on the loo's cistern. Mortified, J asked if our friend used the EDT as toilet air freshener, and our friend said : "Yes, it says there it's for use in the toilet."

.......... There was a few seconds pause before we both burst out laughing.

Okay, so maybe her English is better than her French.
