Love and Emptiness.

One reason why I read mis_nomer, is because sometimes, she writes a post like this, similar to one that I was just drafting in my head on my way home. It's like reading an entry that I should write, but never can. Words, I believe, will choose a time and a place to reveal itself in whatever form they want to be expressed.

I have learnt that Love and Emptiness can be mutually exclusive. A heart can be flying with love and yet be weighed down by emptiness. That is because Love is self-generating, and Emptiness is not self-fulfilling. A heart can give unconditionally and endlessly but will forever feel empty if no-one attempts to fill that heart.

Would you choose to love but be empty, or to be selfish but fulfilled?
