Waraku Japanese Restaurant - Marina Square
I think I eat Japanese more often than I do Chinese. Maybe it's because I eat Chinese at home all the time. But it's more likely that it's because I just can't resist the invigorating taste of Japanese cuisine.
The atmosphere here was really authentic. After all, the manager Kaoru san is Japanese. Hearing him speak Japanese and the staff correctly pronouncing "Irasshaimase!" just makes my day. And the food! Not only is it delicious, it's affordable, and the servings are huge. The food shown in the picture above was meant for 2. It could have fed 4 moderately hungry persons.
I told myself (and J) to go on a diet before our trip to Japan, but believe me, we'll be back for more of Waraku.
